At Pure Word Jewellery we want to deliver short messages from our Maker, messages of Hope, Grace, Mercy, Justice, Love and Faithfulness. We want to make it easier for you to "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart." (Proverbs 3:3)
Our aim is that we would inspire, empower and encourage you through Pure Word - the Word of God - it is after all the best place for it.

My background
I have always been passionate about art and creating beautiful things in small scale. My enjoyment of the art and design course at my college quickly developed into a love of working in silver, gems and all things shiny that fall into the "jewellery" category. I chose to study Jewellery and Silversmithing at University in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, here I was able to explore all areas of metal work and design.

I ended up graduating with a BA in design and Silversmithing, working in the trade for a few years selling and creating beautiful bespoke pieces for customers. In this time I also completed an additional 2 year KTP program which included Gemmology foundation and Diamond grading practical

Throughout all of this I still struggled to feel at peace in my work, I knew deep down that I didn't have the completeness found in creating beautiful objects with my hands, but I struggled to see how I could create jewellery that did more than just decorate our bodies, I wanted to combine my Faith with my love for making jewellery and to create something fresh and new, something different to what had been done before.

Proverbs 3:3 says: 'Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart', this verse became the central inspiration for the concept of PureWord Jewellery. I aim to create pieces of jewellery that are elegant, contemporary and are a constant physical reminder for us.

Pureword offers a fresh look at Contemporary Christian Jewellery with it's focus being centred on inspiring and empowering the wearer with the Word of God.
